Founds E.H.Edwards Company
After the 1906 earthquake, Eugene starts the E. H. Edwards Company on Howard St. in San Francisco. Both offices and a mill were at this site. The major product was salmon trap netting, but he acted as the local distributor for an Eastern wire rope manufacturer.
